Tan FX is a full-service, upscale tanning retreat staffed with friendly Smart Tan professionals who are committed to serving the needs of pallid pelts with the latest tanning technology. Tan FX’s posh bronzing beds feature digital timers and an audio system with stereo input so that simulated sun soakers may relax or jam to a whale-and-dolphin duet. Session times and prices vary by bed, from $9 for 20 minutes in the Ulimate Envy 143 turbo bed to $10 for 10 minutes in a Sundome 548V stand-up booth, with 100-minute increments also available for all beds ($33+).
For a UV-free tanning alternative, the Mystic Tan spray-tanning system ($35 value/use) gilds skin tones with a paraben-free solution composed of wholesome ingredients, including green-tea extract and açaí. The Mystic Tan system airbrushes on a streak-free golden-bronze shine that softens and moisturizes skin with aloe vera, the desert’s answer to maple syrup.
