The black-and-white-accented Metal room houses a double captain’s bed, which presides over ranks of metal filigrees and mirrors precisely placed to transmit energy and focus visual attention. Visitors can wash up for a day exploring the town’s best water fountains inside the Water room, a full shared bath that greets eyes with a cool-coloured mosaic tiling and modern rain shower.
Carole, a well-versed holistic practitioner, relieves bodily stress and improves cell phone reception during reiki sessions, a holistic therapy whose name means “spiritually guided life force energy” in Japanese. Inside a green-and-yellow space adorned with tree-based accents, Carole gently lays hands on various body areas in an attempt to boost body energy and cause increased happiness, good health, and peaceful dreams about clouds raining liquid gold. A chakra-balancing sessions works to balance the centres of awareness in the human body.
