Professional photographer Chris McWilliams snaps artful portraits in her studio or at one of three outdoor locations: The Forks, Kilcona Park, or Kildonan Park. After the shoot, customers can select one image to feature on all of their prints.

Chris McWilliams believes that photos capture more than mere images. The lighting, the atmosphere, each subject’s facial expression: these disparate elements come together to create a mood that distinguishes each photo from the next. It’s no surprise, then, that Chris prefers laughter to be the soundtrack at her photo shoots. The skilled photographer creates an upbeat, relaxed atmosphere by personally engaging with her subjects. Whether warming up shy children, easing the anxieties of stiffened adults, or making babies smile with live reenactments of satirical political cartoons, Chris seems to always know how to bring out the best in her subjects. In addition to composing artistic portraits, she memorializes weddings with lighthearted pictures of newlywed couples and play-by-play shots of the bouquet toss and ensuing tussle.
