During hot Hatha yoga classes, instructors lead a flow of standing and floor postures in two sets to build flexibility and strength as the heat flushes out toxins and deepens stretches. In other classes, they lead the same series of postures in a single set. Instructors join students on the floor during hot audio yoga classes, performing the same series of Hatha postures as an audio recording gives full direction to the class. See the full class schedule.
St. James Hot Yoga’s dedicated instructors help students of all ages and abilities unite mind, body, and soul during Ashtanga flow, hot Hatha yoga, and kids’ yoga classes. Between opening standing postures and closing savasana, or meditation, they lead athletic and relaxing series of postures linked with breath to flush out toxins, pump up flexibility, and tone physiques. These health-minded instructors carve out regulated water breaks to keep students hydrated without disrupting the class’s flow or the retired yoga mats sleeping beneath the floorboards. When they’re not busting stress during yoga classes, instructors sculpt svelte bodies with Zumba’s easy-to-follow Latin-inspired dance steps.
