Monthly passes grant holders access to any of their age-specific classes, from the Little Ninja program for pupils aged 3–4 and 5–7 to confidence-building training for the 8–13 set. In the mixed martial arts classes for adults, trained instructors guide pupils of all experience levels through routines and moves that teach self defence, strength training, and enhance flexibility and coordination. Innovative Martial Arts’ team of experienced instructors is determined to impart the varied benefits of martial arts–from self-discipline to weight loss and confidence– upon Winnipeg’s citizens. In doing so, they work hard to tailor their mixed martial arts (MMA) curriculum to the needs of students and enable them to advance at their own pace while achieving their fitness goals.

A host of preschool and elementary programs focus on helping youngsters build character and self-esteem while developing discipline and controlling aggression. Alternatively, their dynamic, high-energy adults program combats workout boredom via a challenging mix of self-defence moves and flexibility-bolstering exercises. Along with traditional MMA classes, they also hosts fitness boot camps, which marry martial arts techniques with plyometrics, core training, and agility training. The camps help pupils develop strong, chiselled bodies slim enough to fit back into their favourite pair of high school sunglasses.
