Starbucks is celebrating their 25th Anniversary in Canada today. To celebrate the milestone, visit a participating Starbucks on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 and enjoy a tall brewed coffee for only 25 cents! This offer is only available from open until 11am. You don’t need a coupon or anything to take advantage of this offer. There’s a limit of one per customer.

I had no idea they’ve been in Canada for so long. I’ll do a reminder post tomorrow morning in case some of you forget about this offer.

Today (Wednesday, June 6, 2012) is Tim Hortons Camp Day. The fundraising event, which has been held annually since 1975, sees Tim Hortons restaurant owners donate all proceeds from coffee sales that day to the Tim Horton Children’s Foundation (THCF), which sends more than 15,000 children to camp each year.

Foundation coin boxes will also be set up at each Tim’s outlet, where customers can donate unwanted pennies and other cash donations will also gladly be accepted. You can also visit Tim Hortons website and make a $5 donation.

You have the power to make a real difference by sending even more kids to a Tim Horton Children’s Foundation camp! The Foundation provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for children to experience everything camp has to offer – an expense their families could not normally afford.

I know this is not a deal, but thought it was a good cause that was worth sharing. Think of the kids when you buy your double double this morning 🙂
